A first sketch of an ox-eye daisy flower, done on paper with charcoal and pastel pencil. I wanted to get a feel for the basic shapes and main shadows, and will be doing it again with an eye for more detail.

Thank you - I used Canson Mi-Tientes paper, which does have an interesting texture.
