Description
Three fireflies illuminated a purple mushroom in the grass at night. We called these insects "lightning bugs" and loved to chase and catch them when I was growing up. These days, I prefer to admire the lights on the surrounding grass blades in the evening. Dark paintings depicting night scenes are usually called nocturns.
