Description
Three apples and a white bowl, rendered in graphite pencil on paper. This is my preliminary sketch, where I work in monochrome to get a feel for the shapes and shadows of a potential composition. I enjoy using fruit for my still life work, and apples are a particular favorite - not the least because I can eat my still life models once finished!
